Как известно, в Joomla 1.0 было 2 типа материалов: статичные (материалы без вступительного текста и без категорий) и обычные материалы, которые привязывались к конкретному разделу и категории.

В Joomla 1.5 разработчики решили объединить оба типа материалов в один. Но это не означает, что статичные материалы исчезли, они по-прежнему есть. Просто немного изменилась терминология, теперь эти материалы называют не статичными, а не категоризированными, т.е. материалы без категорий.

Для того чтобы создать такой материал, т.е. не привязанный ни к какой категории или разделу, нужно при создании материала, в полях Раздел и Категория выбрать значение "Uncategorized" (или "Не указано" если у вас русская локализация).

После чего, данный материал будет сам по себе, и не будет принадлежать к какой либо категории или разделу.
